there be 句型是英語中最為常用的句型之一， 主要用來表示「人或事物的存在」或「某地有某物」。
there在此結構中是引導詞，已經沒有副詞「那裡」的含義。be後的名詞是句子的主語。其基本用法結構為：there be+名詞主語（人或物）+地點。
其中，be的形式隨著後面的名詞時單數還是複數而變化，即：當be後面接的是單數可數名詞，則採用is；當be後面接的是複數可數名詞，則採用are。
there be的否定句一般是直接在be後加not，not可以縮略為't。如果原句中還有some，一般要改為any。

注意事項：
1、如果陳述部分含有little，few，no，nobody，none等否定詞時，後面的簡短問句中要用肯定形式。
