第三的英文為third，縮寫為3rd。大於3小於10的數字都在後面直接加th。第二 second 縮寫為2nd，第一first 縮寫為1st。
從十一開始到二十，都在後加th ，從二十一開始重複一到十的規律。rd是第二的意思，用於每月3日,23日，而th適用於除了1,2,3,21,22,23,31的所有天數。
